I see this almost every time I unsubscribe from a list.

Its 2-3 clicks in aweber to get list promotion (ie: moving someone from segment a to segment b)working, yet the folks doing this are either not trained, dont read, too lazy, didnt test or just didnt realize that their list promotion just isnt working.

As you note, its annoying to get 4-5-6 emails that are the same (or not) from the same guy about the same thing - especially when its one of the characters that sends every single affiliate jv promo that comes down the pipeline.

Mass unsubscribes are what those guys deserve anyhow. Good of you to notice this and bring it to everyone's attention.

Thanks John!
I appreciate the caution note.
Perhaps checking with email service can give one the open/un-open stats to determine who is getting which email of the possible multiples.
Then a quick personal email can confirm if they're a) aware that they're getting multiple copies, and b) that they do/don't want to be on (multiple) lists.
At this point, with a response from recipient, you can better decide which list, A, B or C, they belong on.
Showing you care enough to check may just lead to more interest on their part in your next offer.
